What is life coaching?
What does a life coach do?
A life coach helps you gain clarity, set meaningful goals, and take action to create the life you want. They’re like a thought partner—offering support, accountability, and tools to help you move forward with confidence.
Is a life coach different from a therapist?
Therapists focus on healing past wounds and diagnosing mental health conditions. Life coaches focus on the present and future, helping you overcome blocks, set goals, and create actionable steps toward a more fulfilling life.
Who is life coaching for?
Anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. Life coaches work with people navigating career transitions, burnout, self-doubt, or simply wanting to live more intentionally.
Why work with a life coach?
You absolutely could figure it out on your own—I did for a while! But here’s what I learned the hard way:
It takes a lot longer alone. When you’re stuck in your own patterns, it’s hard to see them clearly. Having someone outside your situation helps you recognize blind spots and gives you an honest sounding board.
It’s easy to give up when it gets hard. Change is uncomfortable, and when you’re doing it alone, it’s tempting to quit. Having accountability and support means having someone to help you push through the tough parts.
You might be trying to solve the wrong problem. I can’t tell you how many times I thought my problem was time management when it was really boundaries or thought it was motivation when it was actually fear. A life coach helps you set your priorities and identify the root of where you’re stuck.
It’s more fun with support! This work doesn’t have to be heavy and serious all the time. Having someone there to help you celebrate wins and laugh through the messy parts lightens up the whole process. Let’s find the joy in your journey!
You get tools and perspectives you wouldn’t find on your own. I bring years of training and my own transformation journey. Why reinvent the wheel when someone can hand you the blueprint?
The women who get the most out of coaching aren’t the ones who couldn’t do it alone—they’re the smart ones who realize they don’t have to.
How much time do I need?
The Self-Spark Blueprint is set up to work for you and your busy schedule, not the other way around. We’ll have one 45- to 60-minute coaching call per week, and we’ll customize action steps based on what’s actually realistic for your life right now.
The beautiful thing is that we’re not adding more to your plate. We’re helping you reorganize what’s already there. If you’re thinking, I don’t even have 15 minutes a day, that’s exactly why you need this program. We can start with just a few minutes and build from there as you reclaim your time and energy.
I feel guilty spending money and time on myself. Is that normal?
Let me reassure you: You’re not alone in feeling this way. When you’re so used to constantly giving, focusing on refilling your own cup can feel selfish, but when you’re running on empty, everyone else gets the leftover version of you. Eventually, it’s impossible to continue like this. The guilt is a sign that you’ve been conditioned to believe everyone else’s needs matter more than yours. We’re going to reframe this belief so you can reclaim your story—because you matter too.
When you invest in filling your own cup, everyone benefits from the overflow. You become a better mom, daughter, partner, friend, employee, and human when you’re not constantly depleted.
